Digital Manga Publishing is releasing a manga version of the Vampire Hunter D novels. This manga was announced at Anime Expo 2006. According to the article at ICV2, author Hideyuki Kikuchi chose artist Saiko Takaki to illustrate this manga adaptation of his Vampire Hunter D novels. In November 2007 the first volume was released in English, Finnish, German, Hungarian, Japanese, and Spanish. English-language volumes are softcover and black and white (though each includes a color plate). Each volume is about 250 pages.
Digital Manga plans to publish only 8 volumes of this translation.
